Marble Countertop Sales and Installation

Composition

Marble countertops are made from marble, a metamorphic rock that is formed from limestone. Marble forms after limestone has been buried deep underground for millions of years. The heat and pressure transform the limestone into marble. Marble is a natural stone that is known for its beauty, durability, and unique patterns. The marble is cut into slabs using diamond or gang wire saws.

Marble is durable and can last up to five times longer than other natural stones. It's heat resistant, scratch resistant, and stain resistant

Appearance

Marble can be white, pink, gray, red, yellow, or black. It normally has a high polish finish and characteristic veining patterns. Honed marble has a matte finish and texture that feels much more organic. It's treasured for its beauty and is often used in architecture and design

Care & Maintenance

Cleaning marble countertops regularly with a mild dish soap and water. Avoid using harsh chemicals. Counter Craft will use Lifetime Sealer on your countertop at the time of installation which will cover the lifespan of your countertop and will not need reapplication.
